Bareboat Charters

Sailing is a fantastic family activity and an ideal choice for active families looking for an adventure filled holiday where the sport of sailing is enjoyed together and teamwork is emphasized. Parents with children of all ages are encouraged to experience the joy of sailing as a family either with an experienced captain, or if you're interested in learning to sail and your goal is to achieve certification to skipper your next family sail, our captains are instructor trained and certified allowing you the option of incorporating sailing instruction into your charter.
Family sails are customized to the particular needs of each family. The BVI is the ideal venue for families new to sailing and those that prefer shorter sails as the distance sailing between anchorages is always manageable with islands always in site. The average day of sailing is about 3 hours.

Accommodations

If time allows, spending a few days ashore following your charter is a terrific way to wind down your holiday and an excellent opportunity to see more of Tortola. Although Tortola is the island of embarkation for charter guests, with the exception of Cane Garden Bay, guests do not have the opportunity to see a lot of Tortola during their time in the BVI. A few extra days on Tortola will give you the opportunity to explore this lovely island. You may choose to rent a car and take a land based tour around Tortola, take a helicopter ride around Tortola, swim with the dolphins, snorkel Smuggler's Cover, hike the rain forest of Sage Mountain, visit the Botanical Gardens, surf Long Bay Beach or Josiah's bay, dine at one of the many wonderful restaurants on Tortola and take in the night life.
